What this means for manufacturers

Nothing changes until 11 December 2027: radio equipment still needs to meet the RED DA security requirements, with EN 18031 as the route to presumption of conformity. From that date the CRA takes over, so manufacturers should plan the transition of their assessments and documentation accordingly.
